Rob Stru' and N'Sync
In a somewhat bizarre incident, pro wakeboarder Rob Struharik was mentioned on the Tom Green show as being the personal "breath holding" trainer of a member of N'Sync who won a "breath holding" contest. Naturally, the video clip of this is already online.

WWSA
Another signal that wakeskating is getting bigger and stronger is the start of the World Wakeskating Association (WWSA). The WWSA’s intentions are to become the international governing body for the sport of wakeskating. The purpose of the WWSA is to help introduce people to the sport of competitive wakeskating, provide consistent and fair standards for competition by sanctioning events, and to help educate the public on ways to have more fun and generally improve individual skills in wakeskating.

While some might be upset that wakeskating is gaining ground in the organized and competitive world of watersports, it should help wakeskating grow which usually just means more companies creating products for wakeskating, and more wakeskaters inventing new tricks and pushing the sport.

Bonafide Site
Wakeboarding clothing company Bonafide has put up a new version of their web site. They've got some new lifestyle images to go along with their product guide, and they say they'll have photos and videos of their team riders later this week.

Doughboy the Moto-Xer
The Doughboy is upgrading his dirt bike today and moving up from an 80 cc to a 200 cc.

Apparently the 80 cc couldn't carry him and his box of donuts on the way back from Krispy Kreme. Congrats on the new bike D-boy!

Flowlab Wakeskate
I got a great suprise yesterday when one of the Flowlab wakeskate modification boards arrived at my front door! Flowlab.com is a cool carve skateboard that is a blast to ride. They slapped some of their special trucks on a wakeskate making a wakeskate that you can ride on land just like on water.

Here are pictures of one of the Flowlab riders riding one.

It's very cool, I'll find out if they plan on selling any of these, but otherwise I'm going to have a fun time rolling around on my land wakeskate.
