Wakeboarder Thoughts is an ongoing "journal" by Wakeboarder.com Editors.
Check back often for new thoughts on wakeboarding, wakeskating, this web site, and other random stuff.
Pro Tour on Fox Sports
The Pro Tour has made the move from ESPN to Fox Sports for the television broadcasts. As many of you probably feel, I've never been terribly impressed with ESPN's coverage of the Pro Tour. It's been okay, but too often has sucked. Fox Sports has been pretty supportive of "extreme" sports, so it'll be interesting to see if the tour stop broadcasts improve. Hopefully they show some of the wakeskating that will be taking place on Tour this year. We'll have an article with the tour schedule, TV times, and other info on the site shortly.

Dang Outlook!
You won't believe this, but it's 2 AM, and I was about 3/4 of the way through writing the newsletter when Outlook crashed and the newsletter was gone. Great timing, and this is a new computer that has never had an application crash before. Looks like the Newsletter will have to wait an extra day.
We really appreciate the support of these companies, as well as all the companies that were already advertising with us like Buywake.com, Wakeside.com, Malibu Boats, Supra/Moomba, Mercury Mercruiser, CheapWakeboards.com, Grizzly Sports, Ride the Wave Watersports, Blur Optics, and Vikingsextreme.
It's great to see companies smart enough to realize that the web is a great way to reach die-hard wakeboarders, and it's much more cost-effective than print advertising.
So anyway, these companies care about Wakeboarder.com and it's users (that's you), so please check out their sites and support these companies. They help make the wakeboarding a world a better place for all of us.

Newsletter tonight?
The word on the street, the street being my brain, is that the Wakeboarder.Commie Newsletter will be coming out tonight. It's been since December that one went out due to the site crash and changes. So, hopefully too many people won't have forgot about it and think it's SPAM.
The newsletter will contain Wakeboarder.com's Top 10 Wakeboarding Predictions for 2003. It should be wild.
In other site news, I think I'm FINALLY going to update Wakeboarder.com Radio with mp3s from some of the later videos out on the market. Jim McDugald has contributed a bunch of tunes to listen to while surfing the site. Thanks Jim.
