Beside being probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to Hyperite bindings these boots are awesome on the water. I have rode in the Parks and Byerly's and they dont have anything better to offer over the Era. In my opinion they are the best of both worlds. Real entry with an option2 strap. I can't believe they sell these as a second rate boot. I know my local store hsa had a hard time keeping them in stock. What a steal and they put the old 3060's to shame. Which from what I have heard is the only reason people have been reluctant to try them. I couldn't be happier with them.

price, easy entry/exit, flexibility
|
Cons:

poorly constructed strings on back

For the cost, this is a great binding.
It is very easy to get on and off. It will come off on bad spills but usually stays on. I have never needed any lube to get the binding on.
They have a 50/50 balance between flex and support. I have no problem pulling off poked roast beef grabs.
I like having laces on the back and the strap on the front. Personally, I leave the strap a little loose and then tighten down the laces as much as I can. I have never experienced any heel slippage with this binding. The piece that holds the laces tight gets stuck sometimes and it's a little tough to loosen it up.
They seem pretty durable. I haven't had anything break or wear off yet.
Overall, it's a great binding for the price.
