Manufacturer's Description:
The most underappreciated shape in our line, and perhaps the industry. At first glance, Shane's board looks to be too advanced for the average rider. No center fin, relatively calm channels in the bottom, etc… Well, we're here to dispel that myth. This sleeper of a board series rose to the top in '03 as riders of all abilities started giving it a chance. Shane is probably the most well rounded rider on our team, and he designed this board to fit multiple riding styles. Shane rides with power, but somehow allows his style to continue to shine through like no other. His board allows him to get on the gas when he needs to, yet also allows him to butter around when he wants to. Don't be fooled by other, 2 fin boards that are difficult to ride… Ride the Subjekt and you'll soon become a fan.
This year Shane had us make some minor changes to his shape to make it stronger, and smoother. We mellowed out the swallow tail, to allow for smoother water flow, and added sculpted contours on the deck for increased stiffness and strength.
Looser, faster, and more explosive than it's predecessor, the Trip. Geared for riders looking for explosive vertical pop, quick release, and a reactive, fast approach to the wake.
Board Features:
New-Sculpted deck scalloped swallow tail shape - Lighter, less swing weight. Newly shaped and improved for better release Channels water away creating outstanding speed out of turns and a smoother ride
Quad/ Cupped Fin setup - 4 fins aligned to keep the board loose, flowing, and in control at all times LF exclusive, Cupped fins are more effective in every aspect: hold better, release quicker, faster with less drag
Deep four channel hull that exits out the scalloped swallow tail - Positioned precisely to flow with quad/cupped fin Maximizes hold and drive to create fascinating speed out of turns
3-Stage Rocker/lifted rail line - Most aggressive, straight up, wake to wake pop! No rail hang-ups

Pros:

huge pop, solid when on edge, loose when freeriding
|
Cons:
|
landings can be a bit rough at first, but after a couple of rides you adjust

sick board, the cupped fins are insane, they let you butter around when freeriding, but really lock in when you get it on edge. this board has huge pop and is not as loose as everyone says it is. dont not buy this board becuase your afraid its too loose, its not. great board, i deffinetly recommend it.
