Pros:

good pop, tracks well, soft landings

Cons:

heavy board, needs smaller fins

I started riding the Parks at the end of last season, and after a couple of times out I fell in love with it. It has great pop off the wake and tracks like no other. I prefer to ride it with either 1.1 or 0.7 inch fins, which make the board ride a lot better in my opinion. It has super soft landings and sweet graphics. It is a larger and heavier board, which makes it difficult for beginner riders to spin. However, proper edging and body control can correct this.

Fast. The only thing which could be said about this board from the first ride. This board is like a slalom ski in those respects, but still has great pop, but, in my mind, very controllable pop. I only rode it with stock fins, it felt like it sat too deep in the water, and was WAY locked in, maybe smaller fins could be beneficial. Also this is a BIG board, and rides like one, big and (relatively) heavy, i'm 6'3" and 180-190 and usually ride a byerly 142, and would consider the 138 for sure, but thats just preference.
All in all, a fast board, sits deep in water, locked in like on train tracks (fins could rememdy), would suit the bigger riders more with good, controllable pop.

The Parks board is one of the most innovative boards of 2003. It was definitely a fun experience to ride. However, it does take some getting used to by the rider since it is so different. People either tend to love it or hate it depending on your riding style.
Personally, it wasn't my type of board as I like something slower in the water. I like to edge slow and when I edge with my normal style I build up more speed than I preferred. However, some of my friends who are more aggressive in their edging loved the Parks.
The bottom line is that you should try it a few times before purchasing, but it might be the perfect board for you.

My old board was an '02 Motive 140. Let's just say that I expected more out of the Parks, and got every bit. I'm 5'11" 215lbs, and the board seems to fit me pretty well. I kinda wish I could check out a 138 (maybe I'll get a DNA in '04). Even though the board felt huge at first, it only took a ride or two to get used to. I'd been having problems clearing the wake with the Motive, but as soon as I got used to the board (and one hellofa nosebleed faceplant later) I cleared the wake by four feet doing the same thing I was doing on the Motive!
Once you've figured out the edges, this board slices the water as much as you can put pressure on the line. (The water makes a pretty unique sound when you're edging).
Watch out for faceplants first time out (my friends heard my face slap the water)! This board is different than anything I've ever ridden before. Take the time to figure it out, and you'll be amazed at the difference!
I'd say unless you're 6'4" 220lbs, take a good look at the 138. I'm just used to riding bigger boards.
