Lots of pop, agressive

Not a fan of the side fins. 0.7" are a MUST.

This board is certainly an aquired taste. I tested it out for about 2 weeks, and came out with mixed feelings. I like the way it pops, but not as much as the Byerly. I don't really like the 4 fin config and the agressive tip and tail shape. It rides well once you figure it out, but it's not for everybody.
Don't go out and buy this board just because it's got the name Parks on it. Demo it, and you will either love it or hate it. I'm somehere in between.

I agree that you are either going to love it or hate it. I don't care for the board at all. I think it tracks way too much and the pop is unpredictible. It does have a huge amount of pop though. I think adding the 0.7's would make a huge adjustment for the board. The board gripped the water too much and it took effort to break it free for surface tricks and butter slides. My friend that owns it loves the board like no other and wouldn't trade it for anything. This is definitely a NOT a beginner board. Demo this board before you think about purchasing it.

very fast, great if you come from a slalom background
|
Cons:

unpredictable pop, i fell it doesnt always pop you up but will slash a little off the pop and send you strait out and not up
|

all of the parks boards are love or hate, i am sitting in the middle love the speed of the parks but wish it had more of a byerly pop... not so much up but lets you hang in the air... which is where the TFD line comes into play but the size of the parks 133 is perfect for a 5'10 125 pound guy... hopefully in the next year or two hyperlite will make a TFD at a 134 or a 133 cm board... my old board was a 136 CWB which was great but just a little big for learning spins and inverts... so this board is on the line... its great for speed and lip and rail tricks... it just needs more of a predictable pop, with out feeling if you will know how high or out you will go...

I got a chance to ride it after a friend bought it, i ride a belmont 131 and since this board is a complete opposite i dident really care for it. Just dident liek the hold that it had on the water. The board just seemed huge while i was riding it.

Board is badass, the amount of pop is sweet. hella tracky with the 1.3 fins. with smaller fins the board will own.
