Pros:
Easy entry / exit, Great for sharing, Cheap
Cons:
Loose on ankles, not for advanced riders
This binding was my first, and there is just some attachment to your first everything :-P. But overall the binding is great for the group of weekend warriors who only have 1 board / binding setup. But once you advance past the beginner level, its time to get a new pair. But in most part i had a great time using the binding, besides them being a little loose at the ankles.

Pros:

Easy in/out, cheap, great starter bindings
Cons:

Footbed Blows, not good for harcore riders who take tricks in the flats
First, the reason i got these so cheap was cause there was rip in them and the store I work at was gonna pitch them..................
Anyway, the bindings is great for a family binding. good for beginners and intermediates. If you are a hardcore rider, dont bother with these. you will get bruises on your heels. The foot bed is trash for hard tricks. Other than this flaw, they are pretty sweet.

versatility, fit

footbed padding

I have the split bindings on the "community" board for my boat, I think this is the perfect application for them. They suit a wide variety of riders and they've held up to alot of abuse the past two seasons. The only issues I have with them are the lack of footbed padding and the heel on both boots is showing some serious wear.
Like the other reviews I agree these are a great beginner binding and good for a wide user base.
