For an inexpensive binding, the Mobes are great. Very comfortable and easy to get on. However, my right binding ripped all the way up the side after a bad face plant. I called CWB and they are sending me a new wrap-good customer service, but they are out of stock for 3-weeks.

I bought these at a local shop as my first pair of bindings. They were great at first. Once I started to progress they become too novice for me. My foot would slide forward and through the front of the binding. The laces also broke on 1 pair of them as well. I think they are a good set to use for people that come out occassionaly and are not in the advanced catagory. The cost is great with them and overall they are a great beginner binding.

I had the opportunity to ride this binding a few times on a friends setup, and can honestly say that for the going price, they are a super binding.
Extremely comfortable for my size 11.5 (Euro 45) feet, not too bad to get in/out (although these were well broken in).
He obtained them at the start of this season, and the top ankle on one the bindings did start to tear - which from reading some other reviews it not all that uncommon.
Overall, a terrific binding, especially if it's for a beginner, or for a board you leave on your boat as a loaner.

I had these bindings for a good 2 years and they were a really good beginner boot. They are great to let people ride them when you invite them out and they dont have a board. They do rip pretty easy though. My first set ripped because I was sharing them, and people were trying to "twist" their way into them. I had another set on hand though, so I just stuck with them. If I didn't get these for free, I probably wouldn't have had 2 sets, and after the first ripped I would have moved onto something new. As my skill level improved, I moved onto a pair of orange Nice PRS1's, which was a great transition. They are just as soft and comfy, if not more, and they hold you much better and are way more sturdy. Overall, these Mobe bindings are great for beginners-intermediates.
