  • Manufacturer's Description:
The High Back binding is our longest running player. This boot, with its complex overlay weave, gives the rider equal support from their toes to the lower legs. Hyperlite redesigned the overlay for 2003, which decreased the weight and increased the side mobility. The more secure, snowboard boot feel is one of the reasons why Danny Harf, Chad Sharpe, and Parks Bonifay started riding for Hyperlite

    High Back Features:
    Stiffer - supportive heel material.
    Softer - conforming toe material
Two independent straps modify a fixed fit.
An Elastic Option 2 Strap gives a rider greater feel hold down
    Three unique customized overlays
Form Fit Overlay with an improved feel and edge control
New Pro Hardwear and feel brace
New Dual-Density Traction Footbed for cushioned landings and greater leverage

    Pros: Ease of use, footbed
    Cons: None

I demo'ed the parks and byerlys on the water before purchasing the highbacks. There are no silly strings to mess with, and the footbed is fantastic. The binding offers support, and plenty of flex too. Hyperlite bindings, b/c of the way the overlays are attached, are also better for wider feet.

    Pros: Comfort/Ease
    Cons: none

These things are flat out awesome. My feet have only hurt in them on sessions goin over 20-25 minutes. I love not having any strings, the velcro is super easy, even in the water. The footbed is great, the bindings are great.
