Manufacturer's Description:
This season Shaun Murray probably had more water time than he has had in the last six years. He traveled throughout the states visiting local lakes on the Shaun Murray Backyard Tour, promoting the proven, functional Belmont product line. Over the last three years his boots, with the original front lace up design, have been our most successful binding for skilled abilities. Now the Belmont binding comes with our new pro hardware, and an even softer footpad. Shaun's boot combines part of the mobility of the Parks boot with a more secure side-to-side overlay.
-Shaun Belmont Murray

I had the 2002 models, but the overlays ripped and hyperlite sent me the 2003 boot. I can't say enough good things about the belmonts. They are very comfortable, have a very good hold, are easy to get into and out of, and are still flexible for grabs and tweaks. Plus the landings are very soft. Buy these!

I tested several bindings, including the Hyperlite Parks, 3060 and others, but the Belmont is by far the best one for me. I wanted one with front laces because sometimes I found it difficult to get out of bindings with back laces after a ride (I had back problems in the past). I'm extremely happy with these, even though I paid much more at my local store in Switzerland than if I had ordered them through the Internet.

Also have a set of Plush Pro's, these are both more comfy and easier to get into without the rachet. Hold foot pretty snug as well. I may not ride like a pro, but I look like one:)

these are the best bindings ive ever used. they are so comfortable, hold my foot down pretty well, and are super easy to get in and out of. i really like the addition of the grip on the back part. it helps when getting into the binding a lot more than the old pull strap. the new pro hardware and carbonfiber plates look cool too.

Comfort is key to a longer set. You can adjust these bindings to just the right fit and forget about them. They lace up the front (where laces are suppose to go) like a snowboard boot. My feet have never been happier. I spent a lot of time in different bindings that gave me heal bruises and sprained ankles. The Belmont's with the extra padding on the bottom are great -- no heal bruise here. And they are sooper responsive. My binding of the year.

These bindings are bionic. They are heavy, but so durable that I think they'll last 3 seasons or more (and we ride all year long). I'd recommend them to anyone of any experience level.
