Manufacturer's Description:
Relying more on the lace design, less on the overlay Parks' boot was created for riders that want the most support, and side-to-side mobility in one high-end binding.
This year Parks Bonifay has done everything, from tow-in at Teahupoo, to building the craziest railslide we have witnessed. More than ever Parks has been committed to progressing the spectrum of his riding and thru all of this his boot has withstood the punishment. Hyperlite's lightest high-end model has all of the freedom you need for a heelside indy poke, without sacrificing the support for the biggest waters a boat can turn up.
Parks Features:
Stiffer - supportive heel material.
Softer - conforming toe material.
A front and back quick cinch lace up system.
An Elastic Option 2 Strap gives a rider greater heel hold down.
The lightest high-end Hyperlite binding.
New Pro Hardware and heel brace.
New Dual-Density Traction Footpad for cushioned landings and greater leverage.
Additional forward lean for riders who prefer a knees-bent style of riding.

Good Support, Comfort

Cons:

Straps and stuff, Price

Good support front to back, but side to side still has movement. Easy entry/exit, but straps are a bit of a pain. They cost WAY too much but i guess it worth it. If you're in the market for bindings you'll know the speil about these boots, and i guess the only thing i can add is that they take a while to mold to your foot, but the wait is worth it.

Very comfy, good support.
|
Cons:
|
I have high arches and had a hard time getting out of them.
|
|
The most comfortable binding I've ever tried and I didn't have to worry about heal bruises because the foot bed is super thick. The only problem I had was getting out of them. I think it's because I have high arches.

Nice Hold

Hard to get out of

These bindings are the best that I have ever tried. They hold nice and give you excellent control over the board. You run no risk of coming out while riding but they will release in a hard wreck. These bindings provide excellent ankle support as the strap allows you to set your support level. They are tight but still allow you to bone out your grabs. These are really nice bindings.

breaking in, sliding in binding

i bought a pair of 2002 parks, but their is no differnce other then the color from 2002 to 2003. i think they are great bindings, but when you land in the flats with speed or come down quick, my front footed little toe sometimes slides in between the footbed andthe side of binding. sometimes it is hard to get in and out of, but it mightjust be a high arch... hopefully it will get better with breaking in...

Pros:

Snug, Fit well, comfy footbed
|
Cons:
|
I hate strings and laces, price
|
|
Love it, it holds great and the overlay system is sick.
I dont like the straps and laces tho. It takes too long.
Support is sick. Its easy in-out and holds when you want it too. and releases when you want it to. The footbed wasnt all the hype that everyone made it. It starts out felling nice, but eventually, it feels hard. (after a long run).
The price is a real bitch tho. I got these from an employee discount hardcore. But retail, they are expensive.
BUt if you got the money, these are the best!

Pros:
|
Comfort, range of movement side-to-side, Heel lock
|
Cons:
|
Pull strap positioning, material life
|
|
This is by far the best binding I have ever used. I had trouble in many other bindings with my heel sliding, and this binding tok care of that. I like how the movement side-to-side is allowed by the design. It makes the binding more comfortable. The main problem is that the strap to pull the binding on rubs on the back of your calf. I believe this problem has been fixed for the 2004 model. Also, the hardware's coating flakes off after little use. Over all, a great buy...if you can find a closeout pair they are worth it.
