Manufacturer's Description:
Shaun was looking for a boot that, once you were in felt as if you had the support of a snowboard boot/binding combo, yet contoured around the rider's leg with an elastic overlay system. We researched several versions of a stiffer back and came up with the two-part EVA heel that overall is nearly twice as thick for a firmer fit on the six year running High Back.

Features:Hyperlite introduced the stiffest boot on the market. The double EVA heel now has a much more comfortable fit. Besides, laces are so 2004.

Pros: Incredable, comfy, great suction, stiff but still able to flex
Cons: I am a size 11.5 shoe and I need to use lube to get into XL

I give them a 9 rating because I only used another pair of bindings before that came with the first board I bought. I tried on a few in the store and these give me what I want, a direct connection to the board making you feel one with your board. Although, they do need lube to get into them, then you just slip in like slippers. Its a lot harder without lube but possible. Removing them required a quick hard pull as they like to stay on your feet. But, I figured I wanted performance while boarding, so putting them on or off isn't really an issue if the performance is there while boarding. They only blew off once on a really hard fall and I don't even know how they came off, and I never even felt them come off which actually scared me a little. If you can get a good deal on them, you will not be dissappointed. I mix 1/6 slime with 5/6 water in a spray bottle and its more than enough to get you in easily. Although, I think next binding I get, I will want easier entry so I can put them on in the water easily but still have the 12 out of 10 hold that the 3ds gives you.
