Description:
For 2005 Hyperlite redesigned one of their most popular series of all time. The new Era series comes with 16 Fret rails. These rails are a variation of a step down rail and a flow thru rail. The fret rails do not sit as deep in the water as a step down rail. They are not as grippy as a flow thru rail. A fret rail was designed to be fast out of the hull.


The new Era series has a lot of the same characteristics as last years. It is now clearly a quicker board overall. Thru a turn and towards the wake. The board has more exaggerated bottom channels as well. This series has less friction on the water than any other 3-Stage board.
