Pros: FAST System, Canted Footbed, Lacing System
Cons: Added Weight

I picked up my '05 Sphynx in January of 2005. Living in New York, riding them immediately was a bit difficult. But despite my lack of warm water I threw them onto my board immediately and slipped them on. I was a little concerned at first when I found it was very easy to slip my foot in dry without any slime. I had previously ridden the 2003 LF Exo Suc's which I absolutely loved for the feel and support and already I was concerned the Sphynx were not going to meet the expectations I had for them.

Once I had laced them up, still dry mind you, I immediately knew I'd love these bindings. Despite being very loose while unlaced, tugging the strings and making them tight gave me the feel I was looking for. I jumped around my living room for about 20 minutes poking out tail grabs and spinning indys until I got dizzy and had to sit down.

**Note to kids: Don't try this at home, you tend to break things, expensive things, and anyone who catches you doing this will never let you live it down.**

Getting out of them was just as easy as getting in.

I then started fine tuning the bindings using the LF FAST System and damn I was very impressed. The FAST system truly supports individual comfort like no other binding I've tried. I ride slighty duck footed with more angel on my front foot than my back and my ankles have always hurt a little after about an hour of riding. While riding in Cabo San Lucas this pask weekend I didn't experience that what so ever.

I also noticed in Cabo that while the Sphynx had more flex than the Exo's did, They have all the support you'll need when you need it. The added flex is great if you like to tweak grabs.

The new bindings locks that came with these are excellent. Everyone should get some.

The only downside I found to the Sphynx was that if you land leaning on your back foot too much, you may find yourself going down a few more times than you normally would.

Overall, I'd give the Sphynx an 9.5/10 (I rated the Exo's around 8.5-8.7). They truly are a wonderful binding, and any flaws they have the FAST System more than makes up for.

Pros: extrmely comfortable, easy entry/exit, support, flex
Cons: none

Great bindings, i like them alot more than the transits, just because they have a ton more flex, but not too much so you loose support. great overall bindings
