Riders Must Submit Videos to be Eligible for Monthly Cash Prizes, Live Contest in Orlando

Orlando, Fla. — With the May winners determined and June video submissions nearing deadline, wakeboarders, wakeskaters and wakesurfers have just over one month left to enter the first-of-its-kind Tigé MyWake Global Challenge.  The revolutionary contest utilizes the borderless virtual landscape of the internet to encourage riders in the three wake disciplines to submit their very best run online via http://mywake.tige.com for a chance to advance to a live two-day final competition in Orlando as well as more than $35,000 in cash prizes.

All riders must submit an online video to be eligible for any prizes or live contest invites that are associated with their respective divisions. In contrast to traditional live contests where riders have one chance to make the most of an unpredictable run, the MyWake contest’s virtual format allows competitors to submit a video of their very best possible run to the judges – ensuring the highest quality of riding ever in a contest.

“The Tigé MyWake Global Challenge saw some insane video submissions in May and June,” said Tigé Director of Marketing, Daniel Gutierrez. “July is a clean slate though with previous winners not eligible to repeat. So all riders that haven’t claimed first-place yet, should keep submitting their best video to throw their name in the hat for cash prizes and an invite to Orlando for the live event.”

Recognizing the game-changing format of the MyWake Global Challenge, PCM Engines upped the ante of the contest and is doubling all Tigé prize money for the monthly winners. • Pro Skim Male  – $250 per winning monthly video + $250 PCM Double Money
  • Pro Skim Female  – $250 per winning monthly video + $250 PCM Double Money

Through July 31 riders can enter the online contest.  Winners from the May and June contests are not eligible to win again, so new participants and repeat participants who have not yet placed first in a division are highly encouraged to continue with new video submissions. A fourth finalist for each division will be added based on the video results of a Tigé MyWake Global Challenge Ride Day, held at Tigé boat dealers around the world.

Each amateur division will pit the three monthly winners, plus the one Tigé Ride Day winner, against each other in an online final for worldwide bragging rights.
