The 2018 Pan American Wakeboard Championships will be held Nov. 1-3 at Boca Laguna in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico. The event will be used as the U.S. qualifier for the 2019 U.S. Pan American Games Team. One male wakeboard rider and one female wakeboard rider will be selected to the 2019 U.S. Pan American Games Team based upon results at the 2018 Pan American Wakeboard Championships.
The U.S. Wakeboard Team placed fourth and three U.S. athletes earned individual medals at the 12th IWWF Wakeboard World Championships, March 19-24, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Australia won the gold medal (640.00 points), while defending champion Italy earned the silver (635.00 points) and Argentina took home the bronze (445.00 points). The United States tallied 290.00 points in earning its fourth-place finish in the 25-team field. France (247.00 points) rounded out the top-five placements.
The five-member U.S. Wakeboard Team will compete Sunday through Saturday in the 12th IWWF Wakeboard World Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Members of the U.S. Wakeboard Team are: Dayle Cartwright (Naples, Fla.), Veteran Men; Adam Fields (Littleton, N.C.), Masters Men; Dallas Friday (Orlando, Fla.), Open Women; Adam Money (Orlando, Fla.), Masters Men; and Kim Wysocki (Chesterfield, Mich.), Masters Women. Cathy Williams (Murray, Ky.) will serve as the team manager and Fields will be the team captain.
USA Wakeboard, a sport discipline organization of USA Water Ski, is pleased to announce the selection of the 2018 U.S. Wakeboard Team. The five-member team will compete in the 12th IWWF Wakeboard World Championships, March 18-24, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Divisions for competition at the IWWF Wakeboard World Championships will be as follows: Boys/Girls (14 and Under); Junior Men/Junior Women (18 and Under); Masters Men/Masters Women (30 Years and Over); Veteran Men/Veteran Women (40 Years and Over); and Open Men/Open Women (Open).

Australians Cory Teunissen and Amber Wing won the men's and women's wakeboarding titles, respectively, on Sunday at the IWWF Wakeboard World Cup event in Linyi, China. Teunnissen won the men’s title scoring 89.78 points while Wing scored 61.67 points in winning the women’s title.
Some of the world’s top wakeboard athletes will compete Saturday and Sunday in the IWWF Wakeboard World Cup event in Linyi, China. The University of Florida wakeboard team won the national title at the 16th Collegiate Wakeboard National Championships, Sept. 15-17, in Orange Beach, Ala. The Gators tallied 468 points in winning their second consecutive title.
The 16th Collegiate Wakeboard National Championships will be held Thursday through Saturday in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, Ala. Sixteen teams, including the defending champion University of Florida, will be competing in the 16th annual event, where individual titles and the coveted team title will be up for grabs.
