Capelle, the Netherlands, 7 September 2012 – Action outdoor brand Teva® continues to invest in the world of wake skating and wake boarding. Besides international wakeboarders, the brand also attracts the most talented riders at the national level. Teva recently added 27-year-old Daan Rigter, a native of Alphen aan den Rijn in the Netherlands, to its Teva Team Riders.
Daan had been an avid snowboarder for years when he caught the wakeboarding bug after a single session and quickly displayed his phenomenal talent. Although he competed in Protest Cable Call 2012 this August, he’s a born free rider who doesn’t take part in many competitions.
‘Although I do like competing in events, there’s not much time to ride on the water during competitions. I prefer to wakeboard non-stop on the cable and try out new things’, Daan said.
