AF Wake will host 14th annual event on Lake Gaston

POLK CITY, Fla. – USA Wakeboard, in conjunction with AF Wake, is pleased to announce that it

will hold the 14th USA Wakeboard Nationals, Sept. 22-23, on Lake Gaston in Littleton, N.C.

The USA Wakeboard Nationals is open to men and women of all ages and all levels of riding. The

events are part of USA Water Ski’s National Championships Series of Events. A USA Wakeboard

membership is required for all events. Membership and registration information is available at

Spectators and fans can cruise by land or water to cheer on the riders, meet the AF Wake

coaches, rack up on product giveaways, enjoy music and announcing provided by DJ SK, and check out

sponsor and vendor booths. The event is free and open to the public.

AF Wake owner Adam Fields is excited about hosting the event and promoting wakeboarding.

“AF Wake is stoked to bring the USA Wakeboard Nationals to Lake Gaston,” Fields said. “This is a great

opportunity for all riders to connect with one another, and for riders to get the opportunity to compete in a

national wakeboard tournament.”

AF Wake is the East Coast’s most established wakeboarding school and instructs students from

USA Wakeboard is one of nine sport discipline organizations of USA Water Ski, which was

formed in 1939 as a non-profit organization promoting water skiing in the United States. USA Water Ski is

affiliated with the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (world governing body) and is

recognized by the United States Olympic Committee and Pan-American Sports Organization as the

national governing body of organized water skiing and wakeboarding in the United States.
